It all happens Saturday. Details can be found here.

Zombie Luau

Tricky Fish is turning their parking lot into a monster mash. Vinyl Village will be providing the DJ lights and sound. This is (body) part of Saturday’s HallowEast Costume Pub Crawl They’ll be having a limbo contest, polynesian bbq & many other cursed island activities. It kicks off at 7 PM.

Beggar’s Clan will be part of the Costume Crawl at The Empty Glass, starting at 11 PM, with the usual EG sliding cover charge.

Dead Serious with HarraH

Over at the Blue Parrot at 9 PM, just when you thought it was safe to party Halloween weekend, DEAD SERIOUS & HARRAH are going to blow your ears off w/their great sounds of music, horror-style! Costumes are welcome! Prizes too! Don’t miss this vulgar display of heaviness on the 26th of Rocktober! Cover charge is A MYSTERY!

Unknown Hinson at The V Club

The King of Country Western Troubadors returns to Huntington at the V Club. Doors open at 8 PM with the show kicking off at 10 PM. Tickets are $15 in advance, $18 at the door, if you can get in. This is the King’s only area appearance, and you can bet there will be a steady stream of traffic zooming West down I 64 between the Zombie Walk and the Unknown Hinson show.

Looking somewhat like Dracula’s nasty little brother who spent some hard years drinking and working as a carnival barker for a second-rate freak show, Unknown Hinson translates that vibe to his style of country and western-tinged psychobilly. The band is now touring nationwide, wowing audiences with outrageous and campy, white-trash persona and freewheeling, sleazy tone.

Opening for Unknown is Justin Wells of Fifth on the Floor.

QiET CD Release Show

9 PM at The Boulevard Tavern, “Pet Driftwood (Composition #8)” is finally here. It is time to dust off those old, dusty Qiet outfits and show your moves to the world. Join QiET in creating a night to remember, as they bring in the talents of Viva (New York, NY) and I Am Love (Philadelphia, PA).
