What is TofuJitsu, you ask? It’s the name that RFC faves Sean Richardson and Karen Allen are performing under now. And they’ll be bringing their acoustic-based harmonic goodness to the The Vault Friday night from 8 PM to 11 PM. A paltry three-dollar cover gets you in the door!
If you haven’t seen Sean and Karen on Radio Free Charleston, check out episode 35 where you can see them at the Sojourner’s Benefit show, or head over to Sean’s MySpace page, where there are tons of videos of them playing all over town. This is your chance to hear two of Charleston’s best singers collaborating on original music and well-chosen covers. Sean and Karen are two of Charleston’s finest musical treasures, so it was only a matter of time before they wound up in a vault.
However, Karen will escape from the vault in time for her show Saturday night at Bridge Road Bistro. Sean will be there in support, but Saturday it’s Karen’s turn to shine.
