The RFC Flashback: Episode Two Hundred Nine

This week, we take you back to July, 2015, for our ninth anniversary episode of the video version of Radio Free Charleston.

On this show we had music videos by The Company Stores, Close The Hatch and Volt 9000. We also have live performances by Tape Age and Speedsuit and animation from Third Mind Incarnation. We kicked things off with a trailer for Ann Magnuson’s Dream Puppet Theater.

This is a nice coincidence, since we just saw Ann premeire Ann Magnuson’s Bongwater Cabaret a couple of weeks ago.  Also, Speedsuit and a reunited Hitchcock Circus will perform at The Empty Glass on October 23 as part of a killer line-up of great bands. Tape Age has re-formed in Louisville with a new line-up and is recording new music.

You can read the full production notes for this show HERE.

We are rapidly approaching the point where The RFC Flashback will catch up to our now-annual video show. Once we do that, this feature will go back and pick up The RFC MINI SHOW, beginning with its first episode, and probably, shortly after the new year, we will include some of the missing uploads of our current radio version, RFC Volume Five, in this space, too.
