Back in January, 2023, I began running through all the episodes of the RFC video show in chronological order in this weekly feature (which had been randomly jumping around for a decade before that).  The episode you see this week was one that had been left out of the randoming jumping around process until about three years ago.  Now we’re correcting that with this “in the proper order” run through the video incarnation of Radio Free Charleston.

Except for three missing episodes, you will be able to find the complete run of the video RFC in this blog, by going back to Saturdays starting in 2023. At least you will when we get done. At the moment, we’re a little more than halfway-through.  After we catch up, in a couple of years or so, we’ll post all of The RFC MINI SHOW episodes, and that ought to eat up another year and four months.   This week’s featured episode is one that ran here a couple of times previously, but it’s loaded with some important stuff.

Radio Free Charelston 120, “Zombie Babies Shirt” was first posted in February 2011 as a tribute to the late David Russell, to promote a benefit show (held at The World Famous Empty Glass) for his memorial fund.

The show featured music from The ButtonFlies, Sierra Ferrell and The Diablo Blues Band, all of whom performed at the benefit. We also brought you the trailer for Porkchop, the Eamon Hardiman-directed movie on which Dave worked as cinematographer.   Since the last time I posted this show here, Sierra has become a world-famous Country Music chanteuse, performing all over the world and selling tons of records. She’ll be touring with Post Malone and Jelly Roll, and will also resume her “Shoot The Moon” tour this year.
