The PopCulteer
October 29, 2010

The ArtMares exhibit opened Wednesday night at Kanawha Players Playhouse, and you have one last chance to see it tonight from 5 to 7 PM, before it goes back into the crypt.

This is all part of the second HallowEast happening, wherein the East End of Charleston comes alive with the smell of death.

30 artists contributed to this show, and I’m going to try to show you at least once piece by each one of them. Hit the “read more” link to see the bounty of phantasmagorical photos.

In order for your PopCulteer to squeeze in some sleep, this photo essay is presented without captions.  For a list of the artists, check out this post from eariler in the week.

We are presenting this photo essay roughly in the order in which the show’s curator, Jenifer Sheets, cleverly arranged it in the KP Playhouse.

That’s it for the ArtMares photo essay and this week’s PopCulteer.  Next week check this space for a nice post-election rant!
