Tuesday rolled around again this week, and on The AIR that means it’s time for a new  Radio Free Charleston. You simply have to point your cursor over and tune in at the website, or you could just stay here, and  listen to the cool embedded player found elsewhere on this page.

You can hear Radio Free Charleston Tuesdays at 10 AM and 10 PM, with tons of replays throughout the week.  This week we have one all-new hour, and two hours of a Radio Cult concert from 2018, with a wide array of toy-collecting guest musicians, including our own Mel Larch.

Kicking off this cool edition of our show is a new song from Hello June. “Interstate” is the lead single from the long-awaited upcoming album, which s the follow-up to 2018’s acclaimed debut album, Spruce. It’s a real treat to be able to share this with our listeners.

Likewise, it’s a real treat to have new music from Jonny Strykes, back on the show courtesy of the Chicago pipeline; Jim Lange with a tune inspired by a photo he saw on social media; Jerks, who will be opening next week’s show. We also have cool new stuff from Guitarmy of One, Brian Diller, Matt Mullins & The Bringdowns and more.

Plus we also have a set of music with a particular theme, which can probably be figured out by anybody who reads the playlist below.

Our second and third hours bring back a raucous live episode of Radio Free Charleston International from 2018 that that was recorded in Atlanta at the ToyLanta convention. It’s an extended jam, anchored by Radio Cult, and with tons of guests, who happen to also be toy collectors. Stick around to the end and you’ll even hear Mrs. PopCulteer.

I’m resurrecting this episode of RFC International because this weekend I’m headed to JoeLanta (I’ll explain the name changes here tomorrow). We won’t be able to stick around for this year’s jam session, but it will happen and we’ll be there in spirit as we wing our way Northward to MEGO Meet at PowerCon in Columbus.

Check out the playlist below to see all the goodies we have in store. Live links will take you to the artist’s pages so you can find out more about them, buy their music and find out where to see them perform live…
