The Brian Setzer Orchestra, the Big Band outfit led by the former leader of 1980’s Rockabilly revivalists, The Stray Cats, are currently on tour doing their annual Christmas show. Saturday night they were in Charlotte, North Carolina, and one of my Facebook friends was posting enthusiastically about how great the show was.
So my question is, why the hell hasn’t anyone tried to book The Brian Setzer Orchestra into The Clay Center? Since that hasn’t happened yet, tonight’s video is The BSO live in Tokyo, from back in 2001. See, Clay Center! See how cool this would be?
So make it happen, already.
